What business possibilities are available by using social media, mobile networks and applications?

What kind of possibilities are offered by robotics and artificial intelligence?

Timing of exams and assignments
There is no exam for the course. It is carried out by doing learning tasks witch have their own return schedules. Passing the course requires the successful completion of all the tasks to be assessed.
Student workload
5 ECTS credits corresponds to the student's workload of 135 hours. It consists of familiarising yourself with objectives, contents and learning materials, completing assignments, online discussions and participating in possible online meetings.
Further information
Opintojakso järjestetään keväällä 2025 verkkototeutuksena (e-kampus). Siihen liittyy muutamia vapaaehtoisia verkkotapaamisia, joiden pääsisältö tallennetaan. Tapaamisten ajankohdat ilmoitetaan hyvissä ajoin. Ensimmäinen eli opintojakson starttitilaisuus järjestetään verkkotilaisuutena tiistaina 14.1. klo 17.00-18.30. Toinen tapaaminen on hybridityyppinen helmikuussa (ma 10.2. klo 14.45-17.00). Silloin tapaamiseen voi osallistua reaaliaikaisesti Teamsin avulla tai paikan päällä Kouvolan kampuksella (3D-paja). Kolmas tapaaminen on asiantuntijan verkkoluento (ke 26.3. klo 16-18) maaliskuussa.
Toteutuksessa on kaksi opettajaa: lehtori Aarni Ahtola (aarni.ahtola@xamk.fi) ja lehtori Tuomo Kettula (tuomo.kettula@xamk.fi). Luennoitsijoina toimivat lehtori Ari Haapanen, Xamk (3D-tulostus) ja professori Helinä Melkas, LUT-yliopisto (palvelurobotiikka),

Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of the course is based on the completion of learning assignments (five (5)) and competence through them. All tasks to be evaluated must have been successfully completed.
Qualifications
ICT tools (5 cr) or equivalent knowledge.
