You can communicate in simple everyday situations at A1.2 level and are able to apply vocabulary and structures needed in those situations.
You develop your pronunciation and writing skills.
You familiarise yourself with the Spanish customs.
You are able to use different tools for learning Spanish

Course material

The study material will be published in the Learn environment at the start of the course.
The Spanish 2 course material has been produced for the Kivako->Kivanet project by several Spanish teachers.

Study forms and methods

* The course is mainly carried out by way of unscheduled online study but it also has 6 scheduled online lessons. The scheduled online lessons entail work in groups and require active participation.
* Studies are carried out on the Learn platform. Access to the platform opens on the starting day of the course. As a rule, scheduled online lessons are carried out Teams In addition to having an internet connection, the students must also have a video and audio connection during online lessons.
• The assessed assignments are completed individually. The assignments must be submitted by the given deadlines.
• Feedback is provided by different methods, in writing and/or orally. Also, peer feedback can be used.

RDI and work-related cooperation

The course involves practicing customer service situations.

Timing of exams and assignments

The end date of the course is presented in the course details. By this date, the student must submit all assignments, take the required exams and meet all other conditions set for an approved course completion.

Student workload

• 1 ECTS credits equals 27 hours of work by the student. (alltogether 81 hours)

Spanish 2 consists of three modules, each containing subchapters abc. Each module includes a final test and a final assignment.

Topics include:
customer service (restaurant, tapas bar, wine cellar, airport procedures),
hiking, at the beach
Written communication (email)
The main grammar focus: Spanish present perfect (el pretérito perfecto).

The course completion requires that all assignments are assessed with a passing grade.
