Objective
The aim of the authentic project is to increase the student's understanding of the practical work tasks in the field, to practice the knowledge and skills learned in industrial and business work environments.
Content
· Finding a project topic
· Agreeing with the client on the project
· Drafting a project plan
· Implementing the project according to plan
· Returning the output and presentation to the client as agreed.
· Writing and returning the final report and a separate presentation for the instructors.

Luennoilla jaettava materiaali.
Study forms and methods
Toteutus sisältää 9 lähiopetuskertaa Savonlinnan kampuksella ja lisäksi aikaan sitomatonta / aikaan sidottua projektityöskentelyä. Lähiopetus toteutetaan perjantaisin ja lauantaisin n. kahden viikon välein. Lähitapaamisten välillä suoritetaan lähijaksolla annettuja tehtäviä ja projektiryhmät toteuttavat annettua projektia aiheeseen sopivalla tavalla. Lähiopetuskerroilla opiskellaan projektin toteutusta ja mm. innovointimenetelmiä. Opintojakso etenee ryhmän yhteisen aikataulun mukaisesti.

Projektiopetuksessa on mukana Aalto-yliopiston työelämäprofessori.
