Industrial maintenance technology (5 cr)

Objective

You know the role and tasks of the industrial maintenance to ensure the reliability of working of the industrial plant.
You can identify typical fault and wear mechanims. You can find measures how to prevent and repair these faults.
You can select applicable maintenance methods, with which the failures and failure consequences can be prevented.
You know the tools of maintenance management.
You can act as a responsible member in a maintenance team. You can work as a coordinator according to appointed goals.

Content

Maintenance methods: fault finding,maintenance services, inspections, testing, condition monitoring, modernization.
Plant and equipment maintenance: needs, methods, execution, organizing.
The operational quality of industrial maintenance and functional requirements of the industrial plant.
The maintenance strategies.

Opiskelumateriaali jaetaan toteutuksen aikana Learn-ympäristössä.

Study forms and methods

• Opetus toteutetaan kokonaan lähiopetuksena Savonlinnan kampuksella lukujärjestyksen mukaan. Etäyhteys mahdollinen tarvittaessa, mutta ei korvaa lähiopetuksen tasoista tehtävien ohjausta.
• Opiskelu rytmittyy työjärjestyksen mukaisten ryhmätapaamisten ja itsenäisesti tehtävien/ryhmässä tehtävien oppimistehtävien mukaan. Opintojakso koostuu 7 luento-opetuskerrasta ja tunnilla tehtävistä yksilö ja pienryhmätehtävistä.
• Opettajan ohjausta saatavilla lähituntien yhteydessä.
• Arvioitavat tehtävät tehdään itsenäisesti/ryhmänä.

Opetus tapahtuu kuitulaboratorion asiantuntijan toimesta.
