Course material

The study materials will be reviewed during the implementation in the Learn environment at the beginning of the course.

Study forms and methods

The course is conducted entirely as in-person teaching at the Kotka campus according to the schedule. Remote participation is not possible. In-person teaching is not recorded by default, nor is it replaced with remote lectures when it is scheduled as in-person instruction. Part of the teaching takes place in a laboratory or simulation environment. Attendance in simulation exercises is mandatory to complete the course.

RDI and work-related cooperation

The course includes workplace visits and/or simulations in environments that correspond to real working life.

Timing of exams and assignments

At the end of the course, there will be an exam in the Exam classroom on campus.

Student workload

One ECTS credit corresponds to approximately 27 hours of student work. However, the workload depends on the student's study skills and prior knowledge.

Evaluation scale

1-5

Assessment methods and criteria

Assessment is based on the learning outcomes and evaluation criteria of the course.
