Objective

After completing the course, you know the basics of Finnish early childhood education and care (ECEC) system:
- You become familiar with the context of the National core curriculum guidelines.
- You understand the importance of ECEC in the Finnish education system.
- You learn to define the principles of your viewpoint on early childhood education and parenthood.

Course part description

This course consists of four themes introduced in four numbered course sections (1-4). You need to complete these sections in numerical order. The sections include material to read, videos, including their scripts in written form, and activating tasks. There is a mandatory test to take in each section. You can plan your own study timetable.
