Objective

You know the potential of different fibers as raw materials for chemical pulp, familiarize yourself with the most common delignification methods, and more specifically with sulphate pulp production.
You know the unit processes of the fiber line and chemical recovery and their impact on the quality of the end product, as well as the key factors to economical, safe and environmentally friendly pulp processing.

Content

How do fiber structure differences affect their processability and the properties of the end products? What are the manufacturing methods for chemical pulping of wood? What stages are there in the sulphate pulping process and the chemical recovery cycle and what is the significance of each stage in the overall process?
