Objective

You know how to meet the needs of patients with internal diseases and know how to plan and implement nursing. You know how to assess the effects of nursing and know how to counsell patients. You know how to monitor patient's condition and symptoms, react to abnormal symptoms and make the right decisions. You know how to recognize patient's and her/his family's resources and health promotive and rehabilitative factors. You know how to meet patient's needs during intensive care. You know how to operate logically when resuscitating. You know how to acquire knowledge, consider and evaluate it critically. 

Content

How do you nurse and counsell patients with the most common internal diseases (cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, lung diseases, cancer etc.? How do you implement patient's nutrition and medication? How do you meet patient's needs and take account his/her safety during intensive care? How do you operate in resuscitation?   Medical nursing 3 ECTS Education on radioprotection in health care 1 ECTS Intensive care and resuscitation practicals 1 ECTS

Qualifications

Basics of nursing, Anatomy and physiology, medication (passed), Pathology, Microbiology and Infectious diseases (participation).
