Objective

After the course, the student knows: how to apply multi-disciplinary knowledge of senior and elderly care when working with older people. how to use gerontological and especially a social gerontological framework. how to bring social and a socio-cultural perspective to multi-professional senior and elderly care. the legislative basis, service system, and different working methods concerning the elderly. how to use an empowering approach when working with older people and their families.
