Teaching methods

The course follows a work week-based learning pathway.

Xamk offers its students an opportunity to pursue studies flexibly to suit their various life situations. Students can choose between three learning routes: a learning route based on a working week, a learning route that accelerates the studies, and a work-based learning route.

Further information

The teaching material used in the course is in videos, to which students also have access after the course.

Teaching is done remotely in Teams, but a computer class is reserved for students for the entire course. There is an assistant student in the class throughout the course and he/she helps with learning tasks and answers any questions that arise.

The first time of the course, we will go through the basics of BIM and the instructions related to the use of videos. The students then continue independently and the times of the distance teaching will be agreed on the schedule of the course at appropriate intervals.

The learning task is to model the decorated building. Students submit screenshots of their progress at scheduled intervals. This ensures that everyone stays on schedule.
