Model StudioLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

Students consider the manufacturing and testing of a prototype as part of the design process and become capable of analyzing and comparing different forms and constructions in order to find the most suitable combination. The students' own visions and innovative solutions will appear in the  prototypes.

Content

The model making associated with the furniture design project will be executed in the Model Studio.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Material, production and aesthetic competence are under assessment during the study module. Interactive feedback is given during the process and at the end of the module. Students, student groups, teachers and other stakeholders will take part in the evaluation. Excellent (5), good (4-3), fair (2-1); fail
