Tandem Studies in SwedishLaajuus (2 cr)

Objective

After completion of the course, the student has better skills in Swedish, and better knowledge of the culture and everyday life in Sweden or the Swedish-speaking areas of Finland.

Content

Depending on the student’s preferences, various topics and ways to study the language as well as the culture and everyday life of the Swedish culture. In Tandem studies, the student learns the target language collaboratively with a native speaker student. Both students teach their own mother tongue to their tandem partner. In addition, students participate in joint meetings of tandem students, and submit a tandem learning journal.

Grading scale: pass - fail.
