Objective

You know the basics of combined heat and power generation and you know how to design and dimension the main equipment of substations.
You understand how heat pumps relate to district heating production and know the basics of combined cold and heat production.
You understand how district cooling is produced and the relations between district cooling and district heating.
You can use systematically professional vocabulary related to district heating production, distribution systems, and district heating in buildings.
You promote sustainable development with your own expertise and know how to assess the effects of choosing a heating system both locally and more broadly. You can also take into account the larger aspects of combined energy production.
