The license to related software will be provided and materials are provided via Learn platform of the course.

The course is conducted in the form of contact teaching with Scheduled Track. The students need to participate in the classroom activities where the problem/project related to the topic is discussed and solved together in a seminar-based setting in accordance with the schedule.
For better follow up of course activities, additional remote teaching sessions could be organised.

We will use various data set from international and national space agencies.

There will be mandatory assignments with deadlines ranging between two to three weeks from the start date which is the date of seminar for the specific topic. Exam will be conducted at the end of the course in a form of Learn exam. More details of assignments and exams will be agreed on the first day of the course.

Objectives of the course - You are familiar with various vector and raster spatial data sets and spatial data analyses in the environmental field.
1) Exercises based on contact teaching and independent work with current spatial data and software in the field of the environment.
2) You will use publicly available data for analysis of both vector and satellite imagery.
3) The instructions are conducted on the ArcGIS platform.
4) Practical tasks and Written exams are part of the course.
