Objective

When the student has completed the course, they are able to:
- combine components to create functioning power plant processes
- calculate energy streams and efficiencies of power plant processes
- describe the essential auxiliary systems in power plants

Content

CHP (combined heat and power) power plants:
- steam power plants
- combined cycle power plants
- motor power plants

Condensing power plants:
- conventional power plants
- nuclear power plants
