Objective

You understand the basics of sustainable development and responsibility as well as environmental and social responsibility goals in the maritime sector.

You understand the basics of research, development and innovation (RDI) and know how RDI-projects are planned, led and executed.

Content

- key concepts and theories related to responsibility including ethical and legal issues
- stakeholder interaction related to CSR
- stages of RDI-activities, publication of results for different stakeholders and utilization of these results

Accomplishment methods

Students can:
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations
- assess information sources critically
- work as team members in work-related expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field
- assess operations in customer/client, user and target group situations
