Objective

You are familiar with the various commonly used packaging materials suitable for food use and can assess their suitability for different products.
You can evaluate the suitability of different contact materials for handling, storing, and packaging various food products.
You are capable of creating legally required packaging labels based on the recipe.

How to choose the suitable packaging material and packaging for food products?
What types of packaging and packaging materials are available on the market?
What is meant by contact materials and how can their suitability for their intended use be assessed?
How are packaging labels derived from the recipe and what mandatory packaging labels does legislation require?
What are voluntary packaging labels?
