Objective

You know the organizations, goals and means of occupational safety and occupational health care.
You can identify and assess stress factors at work and in working environments.
You can account for individual resources and effects of life phases on wellbeing at work.
You can choose, justify and use evidence-based physiotherapy means to support and promote occupational wellbeing.

Content

What do occupational safety and health involve and how are they promoted?
What is occupational safety and how do you assess the factors related to it?
What is the role of physiotherapy in occupational health care?
How do you measure physical, mental and social load factors of work by exploiting health care technology?
How do you assess workers’ resources and apply physiotherapy methods to empower workers?
What are the basics of ergonomic surveys?
How do you assess workload and how do you affect related factors?

Qualifications

Attending the course requires that the learning outcomes of the courses of Evaluating human functioning and Physiotherapy interventions I-III have been achieved.

Materials

Supporting musculoskeletal functions 5 ECTS credits
Professional Swedish 5 ECTS credits
Physiotherapy interventions IV 5 ECTS credits
Clinical practice II 10 ECTS credits

Evaluation

Students can
