Objective
You know the basics of rheumatic disesaes, orthopedics and physiatrcs. You are familiar with the indications and the manufacture processes of aids that relieve the load on a foot and toes. You can justyfy the use and principles of offloading orthoses and insoles. You can teach your client how to use the aids. You know the safe and proper use of the machines and equipment in orthotic therapy (lab). You know the importance of occupational safety in the fabrication process of handmade insoles and silicone orthodigital splints paddings and strappings. You can assess the client's / patient's need for foot aids and to design and manufacture the aid. You can guide the client / patient to use the aid and to evaluate the functionality together. You are familiar with the different orthotic methods and manufactures.
