Objective

Occupational Safety Card Training: The Occupational Safety Card training provides basic information on workplace hazards and occupational safety at a shared workplace. A person who has completed the Occupational Safety Card course has fundamental knowledge of cooperation and common hazards in a shared workplace, understanding of the key principles of occupational safety and good practices, and general readiness for workplace and task-specific employee orientation.

Hot Work Card Training: Hot work involves tasks that pose a particular risk and are regulated by numerous laws, regulations, and directives. The legislation governing hot work requires careful planning, accident prevention, and preparedness for accidents to ensure the safety of individuals, the environment, and property when performing hot work.

Occupational Safety Card Training: Pass/Fail. Successful completion of the training grants a personal Occupational Safety Card valid for five (5) years. The cost of the card is charged from the student in advance. No refunds will be given, even if the course is not completed. The course can also be taken through any available Occupational Safety Card course supervised by the Occupational Safety Center.

Hot Work Card Training: Pass/Fail. The Hot Work Card Training is conducted in accordance with the goals of the Finnish National Rescue Association (SPEK). The booklet " Tulitöihin ryhdyttäessä " is distributed to participants at the beginning of the course. Upon completion of the training, the student receives a Hot Work Card, the cost of which is charged from them in advance. No refunds will be given, even if the course is not completed. A Hot Work Card issued in Finland is valid in the Nordic countries, and similarly, a Hot Work Card issued in other Nordic countries is accepted in Finland.

Participation in all lessons and training sessions is obligatory.

To achieve a passing grade, it is sufficient to present a valid Hot Work Card (AHOT procedure).
