- ECDIS properties, capabilities, limitations and requirements
- use and properties of electronic charts (ENC)
- ability to operate, interpret and analyse information from ECDIS
- ECDIS as part of integrated navigation system
- management of operational procedures, system files and data in navigation, charts and route planning
- exercises and demonstrating competence in the simulator

The course is 2 e.p., it is about 40 hours. 4 days we work on the simulator 4 x 8 = 32 hours. 8 hours is for self-study. The number of hours of study is according to IMO model course.
