This course of study consists of two sections: theory (4 ECTS) as a common implementation of campuses as online studies as well as preclinical practice (1.5 ECTS) carried out on a group basis on campus.

In the course info, you will get more detailed information about the course's method of performance, attendance obligation, study material, etc. Participation in INFO is strongly recommended that you know the essentials of doing the course from the very beginning. The info will also become a recording on the learning platform.

The theory section of the course (4 ECTS) consists of several sub-areas including recorded lectures, competence tests as well as the compiling Exam exam. In addition, the course includes passing the Hospice Passport and the RAI test.

This course includes a preclinical component (1.5 ECTS credits). Participation in the contact teaching days of the preclinical section is mandatory (100% attendance requirement).

This course of study consists of two sections: theory (4 ECTS) as a common implementation of campuses as online studies as well as preclinical practice (1.5 ECTS) carried out on a group basis on campus.

In the course info, you will get more detailed information about the course's method of performance, attendance obligation, study material, etc. Participation in INFO is strongly recommended that you know the essentials of doing the course from the very beginning. The info will also become a recording on the learning platform.

The theory section of the course (4 ECTS) consists of several sub-areas including recorded lectures, competence tests as well as the compiling Exam exam. The Geriatria section includes medical lectures as well as a scheduled exam. In addition, the course includes passing the Hospice Passport and the RAI test.

This course includes a preclinical component (1.5 ECTS credits). Participation in the contact teaching days of the preclinical section is mandatory (100% attendance requirement).

Tämä opintojakso koostuu kahdesta osiosta: teoria (4 op) kampusten yhteisenä toteutuksena verkko-opintoina sekä prekliininen harjoittelu (1,5 op) toteutetaan ryhmäkohtaisesti kampuksella.

Yksilölliset oppimisväylät

Opintojaksoinfossa saat tarkempaa tietoa opintojakson suoritustavasta, läsnäolovelvoitteesta, opintomateriaalista yms. Osallistuminen INFOon on vahvasti suositeltava, että tiedät heti alusta lähtien olennaiset asiat opintojakson tekemisestä.

Verkossa tehtävä Gerontologisen hoitotyön opintojakso (5 op) koostuu useista osa-alueista sisältäen tallennettuja luentoja, vuorovaikutteisia webinaareja, osaamistestejä sekä kokoavan tentin. Geriatrian osuus sisältää lääkärinluennot sekä ajastetun Learn- tentin. Lisäksi opintojaksoon kuuluu Saattohoito -sekä Rai -testi.

TKI ja työelämäyhteistyö

Tähän opintojaksoon sisältyy yhdessä Esedun kanssa toteutettava prekliininen osuus. Tämä toteutetaan työpajatyyppisesti 22.2.2023 klo 8.00-16.00. Tähän päivään osallistuminen on pakollista (100 % läsnäolovelvoite).

Yksilölliset oppimisväylät

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
-Teoriaopetus verkossa (Teams), itsenäisesti opiskeltavaa verkkomateriaalia ja yksilötehtäviä.
-Yhteistoiminnallisesti toteutettava ryhmätehtävä valitusta gerontologisen hoitotyön ajankohtaisesta aiheesta ja seminaariesitys (pakollinen osallistuminen kaksipäiväiseen seminaariin koululla), Huom! ensimmäisellä info-luennolla muodostetaan pienryhmät ryhmätehtävää ja seminaariesitystä varten.
-Gerontologisen hoitotyön laboraatioharjoitukset koululla pienryhmissä (pakollinen osallistuminen, poissaoloa ei voi korvata kirjallisella tehtävällä)

Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:

Gerontologinen hoitotyö ja geriatria: Osallistut työjärjestyksen mukaiseen lähiopetukseen, joka sisältää esimerkiksi ryhmätehtäviä, harjoituksia, luentoja, opintokäyntejä. Itsenäisenä työskentelynä teet erikseen annettavia oppimistehtäviä sekä perehdyt osoitettavaan materiaaliin. Opiskelusi rytmittyvät työjärjestyksen mukaisten ja itsenäisten oppimistehtävien mukaan.

Ikääntyneen jalkaterveys 0,5op: Osallistut teoria opetukseen ja käytännön harjoituksiin Elixiiri oppimisympäristössä

Gerontologisen hoitotyön simulaatio 0,5 op kampuksella

Opiskelijan työmäärä

Ikääntyneen jalkaterveys: Teoriaopetus ja harjoitukset

Gerontologisen hoitotyön simulaatio. Harjoitellaan kampuksella simulaatiomenetelmän avulla ikääntyneen kohtaamista, vuorovaikutusta, toimintakyvyn arviointia, palvelutarpeen arviointia, kuolevan potilaan hoitotyötä yms.
