Objective

You become proficient in interviewing patients and carrying out clinical examinations at the basic level in accordance with the principles of ethical and pair work.
You know how to use examination and care technology at the basic level to examine patients and administer emergency care and to assess and support the sufficiency of patients' vital functions (including the basics of ECG, manual airway management, use of supraglottic airway devices and use a defibrillator).
You learn to identify patients' immediate need for help and the urgency of care based on the symptoms and findings.
You know how to perform a preliminary diagnoses.
You are familiar with the authority network and the principles of using the most common data terminal equipment.
You know how to communicate in treatment and consultation situations with patients and the teams participating in patients' treatment.
You know how to provide the necessary care at the basic level.
You understand the principles of non-transport of patients.
You know how to document and report the actions taken.
You know the principles of emergency vehicle operations.
You become familiar with the principles of CRM and accustomed to using a patient-safe working model.

Qualifications

Completed the General Studies of Nursing.

Exceptions
- The optional professional training 2 may not be completed
- The thesis may not be completed
- Completion of joint studies may be in progress

Pre-hospital care service system 5 ECTS credits
Practical training: pre-hospital emergency care at basic level 10 ECTS credits
