Objective
You are familiar with the safe emergency care operating model, CRM/NTS.
You can independently identify problems related to vital body functions (including ECG) and, in a responsible manner, manage situations in which patient life is threatened, or patients otherwise require immediate care, including airway management by the subraglottic method.
You are able to identify and anticipate situations requiring emergency care expertise, including out-of- hospital deliveries.
You are able to independently assess patient condition and make field diagnoses and plan the treatment and location for further treatment.
You can monitor and treat acutely ill patients during transport.
You are able to independently carry out pharmaceutical and treatment procedures.
You are able to justify your decisions based on evidence and actively utilise the latest scientific information in professional decision-making and in the development of emergency care.
You are able to independently support and provide patients and their family members with guidance in emergency care situations.
