Objective

You are able to design and manufacture supporting orthoses based on clients' needs, as well as know how to assess their functionality.
You are able to make orthoses with offloading and counsel in the use of offloading footwear.
You know conservative treatment methods for ingrowing toenails and know how to choose the appropriate treatment method and implement it.
You know methods that support the lymphatic system.
You know risk foot examination and what it bases on and can counsel patients according to the risk category.
You understand the needs of high risk clients for foot care and are able to guide and care for them.

Content

How do you implement orthotic therapy that meets your clients’ needs (eg. plaster-based orthoses and offloadings)?
How do you assess the functionality of the insoles you make?
How do you choose conservative treatment methods for ingrowing toenails and how do you use them in a client-oriented way?
How can you support the lymphatic system?
What is risk classification and what does it mean for the treatment?
What treatments are used for patients with high risk foot and how?
