Objective

You learn about supervisor, specialist or entrepreneurial roles of your practical training place and are able to work in the organisation as part of a team according to their business idea.

You are able to identify and describe the principles and methods of management and/or expert work in your practical training place and work in a research and development minded way.

You are able to identify and analyse the areas of responsibility of the practical training organisation and act in accordance with their principles.

You are able to act as a specialist or supervisor in diverse environments and multidisciplinary networks.

You are able to apply the skills acquired during your studies in the field of hospitality management to your chosen role, deepen your professional and work life skills and develop work life networks.

Content

What are the duties of a supervisor or specialist in the practical training place and how do you act as a member of the work community according to the business idea?
What are the principles and methods of management and/or expert work in the practical training place?
How do you work in a research and development minded way, and how and what kind of development skills do you bring to the work community?
What are the dimensions of responsible operations in the practical training place?
How do you act in accordance with the principles of responsibility in the practical training place?
How do you act as a specialist or supervisor in diverse environments and multidisciplinary networks?
How do you apply the knowledge acquired during your studies of hospitality management, deepen your professional competence, develop your work life skills and networks?

Accomplishment methods

Students can
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
