Objective

The students can solve typical business-related mathematical exercises. The students can identify different types of mathematical problems and know how to choose and apply the correct solution method in each case. The students gain routine and confidence in solving mathematical exercises.

Content

The course introduces the basics of percentage calculations and applying them in different business cases. The course also introduces proportionality and the basics of solving linear equations and word problems with equations as well as statistical analysis. During the course, the students learn to efficiently use the Excel program for mathematics.
