Objective
After this study unit, a student is able explain the life-cycle of automation utilize the tools and methods of automation engineering choose components of measurement, control and valve loops, and design cabling and connections identify components of motor loops implement application programs, and commission basic measurement, control, valve and motor loops in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCSs).
