After completing this course, the student will be able to: explain the basic concepts of language technology (writing and speech) apply tools used in proofreading use termbanks and electronic dictionaires use tools for cross-language searches use tools for machine translation (MT) explain the latest tools for speech recognition (speech to text processing)
