Objective

You are capable of analysing phenomena related to group dynamics. You are able to work for the creation of a socially secure community characterised by joint responsibility. You are able to reflect your strengths and developmental needs as a group instructor. You have skills to instruct different group activities. You are able to plan, implement and assess group activities.

Content

How is a group formed and what are its phases of development? How can you support socially secure group formation? How can you develop yourself as a group instructor? What are the strengths and qualifications of group instructor in the field of social services? How do you use functional and assessment methods in groups and communities? How do you work as a team member?

Qualifications

Finnish language, 3 cr (1. semester)
