Osaamistavoitteet

You have knowledge of the meaning of culture, cultural values and identity in your own profession and in the working life in general. You have knowledge of the cultural diversity in Finland. You have competence to work in multicultural working environment and to promote the integration at a communal level. You are able to describe and analyse topical global issues in your own study field.

Sisältö

What is meant by culture, cultural values and identity and how they influence in your work and cultural communication? How does culture influence in our lives? What is meant by cultural diversity in current Finnish society? What is good multicultural communication? How do you work in multicultural communities in your own study field? What are the key global issues in your own study field?

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3)

a) Osaat käyttää johdonmukaisesti monikulttuurisuuteen liittyviä ammattikäsitteitä. b) Osaat etsiä tietoa alan keskeisistä tiedonlähteistä. c) Osaat hahmottaa monikulttuuriseen työhön liittyviä tehtäväkokonaisuuksia. d) Osaat toimia eri kulttuureista tulevien asiakkaiden ja asiakasryhmien kanssa. g) Osaat perustella toimintaasi ammattialasi eettisten periaatteiden mukaisesi.
