Osaamistavoitteet
The objective of this module is to provide the student an understanding of Intermodal Freight Transportation on global marketplace with special reference to railway-based operations. The student will become familiar with different methods and technologies to analyse and run intermodal operations. On completion of this module, a student will have a detailed knowledge of the benefits and options of railway-related IFT and have also an ability to analyse critically alternative solutions. It is also of great importance that a student becomes familiar with an idea of customer satisfaction and value-added services in arranging intermodal transport.
