Objective

You have knowledge from adequate quantities and quality of water for human use. Water resources focus on water allocation and supplies including ground water, streams, lakes, reservoirs, and water storage facilities. Water treatments focus on the quality of the water, and ensuring that it is suitable for human use. You will also be familiar with treatment facilities to treat water after human use so that it can be returned to surface water without negatively impacting the ecology and downstream users.

What are the potable water quality parameters? How to apply surface and ground waters? What are the processes used in the purification of drinking water and swimming pool water? What are the processes of waste water treatment? What are the handling methods for the sludge from waste water treatment? What is the waste water management on rural settlements? How can water processes e modelled? The course contains 1 ect of integrated mathematics
