Osaamistavoitteet

Microbiology and biochemistry knowledge gives the basic tools to understand microorganism living, behavior and use in different environments. Biological functions and biochemical reactions, pollutants transport and degradation processes are important in combustion processes andnutrients use in arable lands,too. Bacteria and fungi in indoor air and their toxin production causes health effects on human and impacts on building materials too. Microbe's fate in aquatic environments and use in waste waterpurification, biotechnology and other application Working in laboratory, taking and analysing different kind of samples, classification and identification microbe species will strengthen your understanding of micobiology and biochemistry
