Biomechanics I ja IILaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The student masters applied parts of the biomechanics of the locomotor system. The student is prepared to understand the biomechanical functioning of the body for advanced studies. The student deepens his/her knowledge and skills especially in osteokinematics and arthrokinematics as required in the profession. The student is able to analyze the biomechanics of the body and to apply it in the clinical work. 

Content

The basic concepts of biomechanics in the functioning of the locomotor system. Observation of the functioning of the body and understanding it from a mechanical point of view. Application of biomechanics in the functioning of the locomotor system. Use of biomechanics from an aetiological and treatment point of view.

Evaluation

Kiitettävä (5), hyvä (4-3), tyydyttävä (2-1), hylätty (0).

Qualifications

Anatomia I ja II, Neuroanatomia ja -fysiologia I ja II sekä Liikuntafysiologia.
