Objective
To understand the normal course and monitoring of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium
To know how to support and promote the well-being of families with children
To know how to support families in adopting the role of a parent and taking care of a new-born
To be able to support a physically or mentally disabled person’s ability to function and contribute
To be able to understand the importance of culture in nursing and to be able to encounter clients from different cultures on an individual basis
To know how to support and promote the well-being of individuals living in different communities
To be able to generate, spread and utilise expertise and collaborative relationships in multidisciplinary teams and networks
