Objective
You can regognize and evaluate populations health and welfare and factors connected to them on the level individuals and communities. You understand customers rights and participation as a user of health services. You are able to use health promotive procedures and acts in your work. You are aware of the organization of national social and health care services, the development programme for social and health care, and the aims of the governmental welfare politics. You are aware of the individual and interpersonal factors that affect on wellbeing. You are aware of the contemporary public health problems and the acts reducing health inequalities. You are aware of what is healthy nutrition. You are aware of sexual well-being in human life.

How social and healthcare is organized in Finland? In the field of health promotion, which recommendations direct and frame your work, and how your work is framed by these recommendations? Which factors affect on health and on population welfare? For your part, how to enhance inclusion and prevent marginalization? How to priorise and encourage healthy living, and how to decrease substance use, diseases and health inequalities? How to develop preventive initiatives and early intervention skills? How to use health promotion skills and competences in your work? How to tailor health promotive living environments? How to set up health promotive goals in collaboration with patients?
