Objective
• you improve your comprehension of the normal/abnormal structure and function of the human body
• you understand the basics of clinical assessment techniques (inspection, palpation, auscultation, percussion) in a comprehensive patient clinical assessment from a nurse's perspective to support independent decision-making
• you understand the importance of patient history in a clinical assessment
• you are able to identify abnormal findings and situations that require consultation with a doctor
• you are able to independently carry out a patient clinical assessment using various assessment techniques and equipment in the context of a nurse's areas of competence
• you understand the differences between a nurse's and a doctor's areas of responsibility in clinical patient assessment
