Objective

You are familiar with the national rehabilitation service system and core legislation.
You are able to evaluate your clients' functional ability in their living environments and provide them with guidance.
You are able to broaden and share your knowledge with respect to the evaluation of your client’s functional ability and service needs.
You are able to contribute to the construction of barrier-free environments by using welfare technology and assisting devices/aids.
You are able to apply multidisciplinary knowledge, innovative methods and multi-professional cooperation in rehabilitation and welfare services.

Content

What is the legal basis for rehabilitation service systems and operators?
How do you ensure multidisciplinary collaboration to support the client’s individual rehabilitation process?
How are accessibility and barrier-free environment promoted in a client-oriented way?
How do you improve your skills as a member of a multi-disciplinary / multi-professional network and promote client-oriented approaches?
How do you apply and use innovative methods and multi-disciplinary knowledge in the interaction of different professions and services?

Evaluation

Students are able to

a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. evaluate information sources critically.
c. work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field.
d. evaluate operations in customer, user and target group situations.
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
f. promote teams’ goal-oriented operation.
g. apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations.

Qualifications

Participation in the course requires that the first and second year studies have been completed, or equivalent knowledge and skills have been gained.
