Objective

You get a versatile view over the operations of the orthotics lab.
You observe and participate in the manufacturing processes of orthoses for a variety of specific groups, including the measuring, fitting and manufacture of different supports, aids, footwear and prosthetics.
You evaluate and describe the acquisition processes related to special footwear and orthotics and learn to instruct the client / patient individually and thoroughly.
You describe and analyze the insole manufacturing methods of the orthotic lab units.
You understand the importance of multi-disciplinary cooperation in acquiring special aids and offloading products.

Evaluation

Assessment of Podiatric training in working life II: Pass / Fail / Needs to be complemented
Self-evaluation and teacher's/supervisor's evaluation.
Independent participant: 5th term, graduate level 3 a-g.
Students can
