Objective

After completing the course, the student can: understand and explain the production process of a commodity or a job description in effective and correct English produce professional written material of good quality concerning international trade use correct and idiomatic business language in negotiations, presentations, and business visits recognise and make use of the factors affecting intercultural communication find information, enhance their own expertise and contribute some of it to the group use English at skill level B1-B2 (European Framework)

Content

 the variety of commodities: goods and services money matters and payments in Finland and in an international environment retail, wholesale, and international trade terminology topical issues in international trade describing a process a written report, memo, summary, or paper on extensive material a company profile, a demanding product demonstration, or another advanced oral output self and/or peer evaluation from the English language perspective given in English
