Objective

The aim of the course is that you know how to describe the various types of automation systems for buildings structures, properties and applications. You gain a clear understanding of today's so-called DDC-based technology and open (KNX, LON) building automation systems. After completing the course you understand the importance of building automation for the supervision and guidance of various types of real estates.

What are building automation system control messages like?
How do you program using logic?
How is electricity network integrated into building automation systems?
What is meant by the KNX technology?
How are actuators and sensors built and how do they work?

Qualifications

Automation technology, Programmable logic controllers (for students of Electrical and Automation Engineering), Basics of Electricity and automation (for students of Building Services Engineering)
