Basic Italian 1, A2Laajuus (3 cr)

Objective

    The student understands and uses orally and in writing the language at skill level A2. They understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance. They can communicate in simple and routine tasks. The student: knows how to greet people, introduce themselves, say goodbye, and apologise can express feelings and opinions is able to give simple information concerning people, professions, and work can talk about family, professions, and work knows cardinal and ordinal numbers, time, days, dates, months, and seasons is able to shop, order food and drinks, reserve a hotel room can give short instructions, guide people can talk on the phone can talk about the weather, the working day can take notes, search relevant information, fill in forms can talk about the target country and Finland can talk about education, student exchange can prepare for a job interview 

Content

    The study unit includes communication situations and vocabulary at skill level A2. The language structures include: verbs: present tense, reflexive verbs, main structure, imperative, imperfect, perfect and past perfect tense, phrasal verbs adjectives: complement and adverb articles nouns: gender, plural, nominative, partitive prepositions pronouns: personal pronouns, possessive pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, and interrogative pronouns clauses: declarative sentences, direct questions,subordinate clauses numerals
