Objective

After the course, the student will:   -know the procurement logistics of raw-materials and fuels used in the forestry industry -know the trade in energy wood -be able to calculate the price of energy wood delivered to a power plant 

Content

-the trade in wood raw material and wood based bioenergy -logging and transportation of energy wood -integrated logging and transtortation of timber and energy wood -transportation of wood material by road, rail and waterway -silviculture -subsidies for energy wood -planning the procurement of energy wood
