Objective

You are able to demonstrate an understanding ofdifferent definitions and the meaning of counselling, patient education, health promotion,adherence, compliance, self-management, and self-regulation. You are able to demonstrate an understanding ofthe meaning of evidence based practice in patient education and counselling. You are able to retrieve and evaluate knowledge related to patient education, counselling and health promotion. You are able toanalyse and evaluate health promotion, patient education and counselling in practice. You are able toregognize own learning and counselling philosophy, style and competence. You are able to develop own learning and counselling philosophy, style and competence. You are able to self evaluate the competence ant the requirements of counsellor in your own work. You will become familiar with your own strengths and needs of counsellor.
