Objective

You are able to start giving first aid to persons affected by accidents and common medical conditions. You learn to act in more challenging situations requiring first aid, and to prevent accidents. You know and have the capacity to act in different exceptional conditions in society as citizen and nursing actor

Content

• Action taken to assist in situations requiring first aid in an accident or attack of illness.
• Emergency first aid.
• Special situations as wounds, joint injuries and fractures, burns, scalds and injuries caused by electricity, poisonings and most common attacks of illness.
• Examining a casualty for first aid, special situations as chest, abdominal and pelvis injuries, internal bleeding, spinal and limb injuries and head and facial injuries.
• Observing and monitoring a casualty’s condition and the first aid positions, protecting a casualty, and moves and transport.
• First aid and prevention of injuries caused by cold and of conditions caused by heat.
• Group-specific special topics (selection) as accumulating first aid and health knowledge, promoting one’s own health and safety.
• This course contents First aid 1 and First aid 2.

The certificate of First Aid Course EA 1 and EA 2 Red are valid for three years.
