Objective

Learn to create models for a modular asset kit in Blender to be used in game
engines such as Unreal Engine 4 and Unity 5.
Generate textures for modern PBR (photo-realistic based-rendering) workflows
utilized in most Game Companies.
Basics of texturing and shading in Photoshop, Blender cycles, Unity Game Engine
and Quixel Suite 2 (a collection of specialist surface material creation software)
Texturing workflows for turning your high polygon geometry into low polygon
assets while retaining details.
Optimization and performance budget in terms of UV layouts, texturing and
geometry for mobile, high-end PC and VR devices.

1. Basics of Blender: user interface and modeling
2. How to build an efficient production pipeline to produce game ready
assets.
3. Creating client ready asset sheets for presentation.
4. Exporting Blender assets from Blender to texturing software and various
game engines.
5. The importance of understanding a design brief. Project Framing.
6. Creating a game-ready modular environment kit.
