Objective

You can plan research or development projects and know the appropriate research and development methods for developing information management. You can define the appropriate objectives for you research or development project and select suitable methods for data collection. You are familiar with research ethics and and can identify ethical questions of utilizing data and information. You know the style and techniques of academic writing both in Finnish and in English.

Content

How can you write research or development plans? Which are the instructions for research ethics? What kind of ethical questions do you have to pay attention to when utilizing data and information? What are the style and techniques of academic writing?

Evaluation

Students can
a) find, study, produce and critically evaluate multidisciplinary data in the field of information management and digital archiving.
b) solve demanding problems in research, development and innovation activities.
g) communicate proficiently and systematically in development duties.
