Objective

Understand the role of digital strategy in business planning
Investigate and evaluate the key features and contextual applications of different e- business models of both current and emerging Internet Technologies.
Critically examine contemporary web value models and the development of e-marketing campaigns.
Investigate and understand the critical role of social media in communication planning and customer engagement.
Develop a prototype business proposition website.

Content

The development of successful digital business enterprises is characterized by increasing rapid supply capabilities, global competition and customer expectations. The modern manager needs to have a keen understanding of e-business, technologies, social media, business strategy and the ability to build sustainable customer relationships. This module will focus on the ability to develop and sustain a flexible and agile business proposition. The student will develop a core understanding of business strategy, e-marketing and the role of social media in communication plannning and customer engagement strategies.
