Objective
You know the principles of occupational safety management.
You understand the importance of safety culture in developing safety at work and the different roles and responsibilities.
In addition to legislation, you know the principles of the progressive application of regulations, standards and guidelines.
You know the basics of accident investigation to identify the root causes and are able to communicate the findings in the form of safety briefings to staff.
You understand the importance of measurement and statistics in safety management.
You can draw up work instructions for critical work, such as confined space work.
